Terms Of Service

Last updated: 4 July 2026

1. Who we are

This website, myquickbooks.shop ("the Site"), is operated by WHITE SHELL LTD ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in Scotland under company number SC846434, with registered office at 2/2, 786 Shettleston Road, Glasgow, Scotland, G32 7DD. We are not VAT registered. Contact: info@myquickbooks.shop, +44 7830 632407.

By purchasing from or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

2. Products

We sell digital PDF crochet patterns ("Digital Content"). Product descriptions, skill levels, and materials lists are provided on each product page. We make reasonable efforts to ensure descriptions are accurate. Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and may change at any time; changes do not affect orders already placed.

3. Orders and payment

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract is formed when we send you the order confirmation email. Payment is taken at the time of order via PayPal. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect fraud or error (for example an obvious pricing mistake); in that case any payment taken will be refunded in full.

4. Delivery of digital content

Digital Content is delivered immediately after payment via an on-screen link and by email. By purchasing, you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that your 14-day statutory cancellation right ends once delivery of the Digital Content has begun. See our Refund Policy and Shipping Policy for full details.

5. Licence and permitted use

When you purchase a pattern, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own crafting. You may print the pattern for personal use and sell finished physical items you make from it. You may not copy, share, resell, publish, redistribute or upload the pattern file itself (in whole or in part), or claim the pattern as your own work. All intellectual property rights in our patterns, images and website content remain with WHITE SHELL LTD.

6. Your rights as a consumer

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Digital Content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If it is not, you are entitled to a repair or replacement, and if we cannot fix the problem, a price reduction or refund. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

7. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law. Subject to that, we are not liable for: (a) losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made; (b) business losses (our products are for consumer/personal use); or (c) losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the price you paid for that order. If our Digital Content damages a device or other digital content belonging to you, and this is caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill, we will either repair the damage or pay you compensation, as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

8. Acceptable use of the Site

You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, introduce malicious code, or use it for unlawful purposes.

9. Privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

10. Complaints and dispute resolution

If something goes wrong, please contact us first at info@myquickbooks.shop — most issues are resolved quickly and amicably. If you remain dissatisfied, you may seek advice from Citizens Advice, and you always have the right to bring a claim in the courts.

11. General

We may update these Terms from time to time; the version published on the Site at the time of your order applies to that order. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions continue in force. These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, and disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts (as a consumer you may also bring proceedings in your local courts within the UK).
